We like to tinker with smart tech—even for the little things. Our Café (aka the small coffee area we threw together with IKEA bits) has always had some automation. The coffee machine and the light above it used to turn on at a set time each morning.
But we wanted more control. So, we set up a Shelly Tough Button to do the job. Now, with one press, both the coffee machine and the light switch on. A long press turns them off. Simple, quick, and no more waiting for a schedule.
Not only is it easier, but we can also turn everything off sooner than the schedule, which helps save power—plus, we can do it from the office without having to walk over.
