The Shelly DS18B20 Probe is the perfect tool for measuring the temperature of its surrounding environment. The sensor has a 1-wire interface, which means it only requires one port pin to communicate with a microcontroller.
Additionally, its unique 64-bit address allows it to work with one or two other sensors on the same single-wire bus. The sensor's stainless steel housing and waterproof cable make it ideal for outdoor use, and it even operates without the need for external power. Experts refer to this as "Parasitic Power", eliminating the need for an external power supply.
Ideal for HVAC controls, building temperature monitoring systems, and process control, the sensor comes with a high-quality stainless steel case and a 1-meter cable.
It can be easily connected to the Shelly 1 or Shelly 1PM for temperature readings ranging from -55 to 125 °C.
